Weekly Definitions

Ambrotype- A positive image created on a sheet of glass using the wet collodian process

Tintype- Positive image created on iron sheet, coated with dark enamel.

Heliography- Earliest known photograpghy. Made by using special asphalt and rubbed on glass or metal. Then it is exposed to sunlight and hardened.

Daguerreotype- Silver plate exposed to halogen fumes then sent to a camera to develop the picture.
